The Metropolitan Concert Band was formed in 1981.  Although we rehearse in Burnaby, our membership is drawn from all over the lower Mainland.

Dan Hearty, a music teacher and a founding member of the group, has led us since 1996.  One of our favorite concerts is to play at eh Carnegie Centre.  That’s the Carnegie at Main and Hastings, NOT the one in New York City!
