The Maple Ridge Concert Band is a community band made up of 40 or so members of all ages and musical abilities and first formed in 1946 following World War II.

One of the Band’s major accomplishments is the design and construction of the Memorial Peace Park Bandstand (where we hold our popular Twilight Tuesday summer concert series), which was presented as a gift to the people of Maple Ridge on May 7, 1994.

We also enjoy playing in various community events such as the Santa Claus Parade, Pitt Meadows Day Parade, the Christmas Haven, and Remembrance Day, performing a variety of music, from symphonic works for wind ensemble to big band swing, traditional hymns to Dixieland, and Sousa to Broadway musicals.
